The iPulp Fiction Library announced the exclusive publication of Wizard's Boy by the award- winning children's author Bruce Coville. Mr. Coville is a versatile writer and editor of books and stories for young readers. His works range from fantasy, such as "Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher," to the retelling of Shakespeare. "I love the idea of iPulp," Mr. Coville said. "I cut my teeth as a reader on pulp fiction, he best of which has great storytelling energy. I'm all in favor of finding new ways to bring this kind of story to young readers."

iPulp is a free site that updates the literary legacy of the Dime Novel and serialized fiction to create accessible genre fiction suitable for readers 10 to adult. iPulp publishes single- and multiple-issue stories by both new and award-winning authors. iPulp will concentrate initially on middle grade and young adult stories that parents can share with their children.

KB Shaw is the founder of iPulp and publisher of its parent company, IncWell. "iPulp is an outgrowth of a popular serialized novel that ran as a part of our SPECTRUM Home and School Network," Mr. Shaw said. "While the novel had a loyal following, feedback about reading onscreen text was not so positive. However, modern operating systems, combined with increased screen resolutions and the evolution of web browsers now allow iPulp to publish online fiction that has a visual quality comparable to hardcover books and is consistent across platforms."

In July, iPulp will publish "Ghostwriters," an original middle grade mystery by Elaine Marie Alphin, the Edgar Award-winning author of "Counterfeit Son." "As soon as I discovered iPulp Fiction Library I wanted my stories to be part of it," said Ms. Alphin. "In between working on novels, I write shorter projects to re-energize, as I'm sure many authors do. What a terrific outlet for writers to share their stories with kids and teens who do their reading on the web."
