Johnny Ostentatious has published NOIR REUNION, which is available on the small press Active Bladder. NOIR REUNION -- a punk-rock thriller -- centers around Philadelphia, where Ostentatious was born and lives today.

The suspenseful NOIR REUNION is about four friends who, on the night of their junior prom, stumble across an ill-fated drug deal and by daybreak drive away with $4 million. Due to disagreements in the group, they decide to stash the money away. Twenty years later, the four friends -- a failed actor, a zookeeper, a gay punk rocker and a computer tycoon -- meet to retrieve the money. But tensions are high. And unknown to them, a scruffy, paunchy man in a trench coat is tracking their every move.

"NOIR REUNION is actually about how people change over 20 years, and most of it is set in Philly, with the city almost cast as a character itself," says Ostentatious, whose influences include John D. MacDonald, Stephen King and Robert B. Parker.
